Overview of Laboratory Activities
under construction
Specific Research Areas
- Seismo-Electromagnetics
- Atmospheric Electricity
- Electro Magnetic Compatibility(EMC)
Recently, problems on the electromagnetic compatibility is appearing
according to the development of electric and electronic circuits,
for example, the electromagnetic couplings and interferences
between devices. Our main subject on this field is to give
explanation on the mechanisms, and to develop the resolution.
We study many topics as follows:
- Coupling between transmission lines and external EM fields
- Crosstalk between coupled microstrip lines
- Radiation from transmission line bends.
- DOA of artificial noises
The main direction of our works is to utilize the electromagnetic theory
(Esp. computational electromagnetics) to illuminate the physics of EMC.
